The winner of the "New Wave" is the singer from Georgia Nutsa Buzaladze

The winner of the 13th International competition of young singers of popular music "New Wave - 2014" in the Latvian town of Jurmala has become a 17-year-old singer from Georgia Nutsa Buzaladze.

"Silver" and "Bronze" went to representatives of Ukraine - Viktorya Petrik and Vyacheslav Rybikov.

The audience joined in a song sincerely to contestants, but the most sympathy from the first day was on the side of a very melodious, sincere and smiling 17-year-old Georgian woman. Nutsa's vocal style continues the tradition of great warm up folk songs, deployable in Georgia for two-three-four voices (on the third day she took the stage with singer-compatriot Sophiko).

Nutsa's songs - beautiful, soulful and free - many will listen to her for pleasure and soothing the soul. And the victory of Nutsa Buzaladze (at the competition she arrived with her mother and a producer) is certainly deserved.
On the third day of competition of the festival participants presented to the jury and the audience a song written specifically for this music show.

Contest "New Wave - 2014" was held in the concert hall "Dzintari" from July, 22 to 27. This year it is attended by 16 young singers from 13 countries - Armenia, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and the USA.

Contest participants competed in three categories - "country hit ", "global hit" and a song, written specifically for this show music.

By the end of the music show in the concert final of the festival on July 27 were presented three "Crystal Wave" and money prizes, as well as the Audience Award and other awards from the sponsors of the festival.

Chairmen of the jury were Russian composers, singers and performers.
