On November 18-20, the exhibition center “ExpoGeorgia” hosts the international exhibition of agriculture, food industry, processing and packaging technologies Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo 2022. The exhibition is held in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture.

Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo 2022 was opened by the first deputy minister of environment protection and agriculture, Giorgi Khanishvili and the director of the exhibition center “ExpoGeorgia”, Resan Kikawa.

It was noted that, due to the pandemic, after a two-year break, the twenty-year tradition was renewed. Various activities, conferences, debates and thematic discussions are planned within the framework of the exhibition.

Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo 2022 is being held in the 11th pavilion of “ExpoGeorgia” and the surrounding outdoor space. Agricultural machinery, machinery, containers and packaging materials, greenhouse technologies and equipment, irrigation systems, laboratory equipment, planting and seed materials, fertilizer and pesticides, consulting services and modern technologies are presented at the exhibition.

On November 18, within the framework of the exhibition, the conference “Agriculture in Georgia” was held, in which the First Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture Giorgi Khanishvili participated. At the conference, a discussion panel was organized on the topic “Agricultural Development Plans and Opportunities”, as well as a seminar “Finance Availability and Opportunities from the Private Sector and Donor Organizations” was held. Farmers from the regions of Georgia attended the conference.

It should be noted that the exhibition is the best platform for entrepreneurs and farmers both in terms of getting to know news and sharing best practices, as well as in terms of finding business contacts and partners. Therefore, it is especially important that the mentioned exhibition is accessible to farmers and small entrepreneurs living in the regions. That is why, under the organization of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, the 20th International Exhibition of Food Industry, Processing and Packaging Technologies is attended by 800 farmers from all regions of Georgia.

Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo 2022 can be attended on November 18-20, 11:00-19:00.
