Georgian judoka Beka Gviniashvili won the Zagreb Grand Prix on Sunday by beating his Brazilian competing Rafael Macedo in the 90- kg classification of the competitors.
Gviniashvili racked up 2 waza-aris in the suit, finishing in an ippon later on in the experience.
With his win, the Georgian professional athlete scored his 26th International Judo Federation Globe Excursion medal.
Ilia Sulamanidze, 21, declared silver in the Grand Prix after acknowledging the 100kg classification last to Germany’s Michael Korrel.
